South-India, Nayak period. ca. 19th c.
H. 16,5 cm
Seated in lalitasana, her principle hands holding the trishula and kapala, both secondary ones the damaru and the remains of possibly the noose, wearing sari tied around the waist with a belt, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression with almond-shaped eyes below arched eyebrows, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments and a flaming hairdo.
